TCC Africa partnered with Zimbabwe University Libraries Consortium (ZULC) with the objective of showing the opportunities existing for early career researchers in Zimbabwe through Open Access.
The webinar session included speakers from TCC Africa partners, Digital Science and Knowledge Unlatched, who demonstrated to the Zimbabwe University Libraries Consortium (ZULC), how their institutions can support their respective academic communities.

Knowledge Unlatched is an organization that offers an opportunity for libraries and publishers from around the world to work together to create a sustainable route to Open Access for scholarly books and journals in the Humanities and Social Sciences and Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine. They offers a crowd-funding model that enables libraries to share the costs of transitioning monographs into Open Access.

The Training Centre in Communication(TCC Africa), is the first African-based training centre to teach effective communication skills to scientists. TCC Africa is an award-winning Trust, established as a non-profit entity in 2006 and is registered in Kenya. TCC Africa provides capacity support in improving researchers’ output and visibility through training in scholarly and science communication.
