Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa) reunited with Western Africa partner Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) to support their early career researchers and academics on how to use open-access research discovery solution, Dimensions, to increase their research output visibility. Dimensions is an open-source research discovery platform that can be used to access funders, policy documents, and a variety of other publications.

Dimensions offers the most comprehensive collection of linked data in a single platform, indexing nearly 35 million Open Access publications in full text and linking them together with datasets, closed publications, grants, patents, policy documents, citation information, and clinical trials.
Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) is a federal government-owned university located in the ancient city of Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. The university was founded in 1961. The Training Centre in Communication(TCC Africa), is the first African-based training centre to teach effective communication skills to scientists. TCC Africa is an award-winning Trust, established as a non-profit entity in 2006 and is registered in Kenya. TCC Africa provides capacity support in improving researchers output and visibility through training in scholarly and science communication.
