Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa), together with Knowledge Unlatched and Digital Science were honored to host the Midlands State University academic community for a workshop on using open-access research discoverability tools, Dimensions, and the Open Research Library to increase their research output visibility and discoverability.
Dimensions by digital science is a modern, innovative, linked research data infrastructure and tool, re-imagining discovery and access to research: grants, publications, citations, clinical trials, patents, and policy documents in one place.

The Open Research Library (ORL) by Knowledge Unlatched, is planned to include all Open Access book content worldwide on one platform for user-friendly discovery, offering a seamless experience navigating more than 14,000 Open Access books. This vital infrastructure is slated to comprise the most comprehensive collection of peer-reviewed Open Access books accessible to everyone. Libraries investing in the Open Research Library contribute to the development of dedicated infrastructure for the global research community while participating libraries have the opportunity to benefit from a set of exclusive services.

Midlands State University is a government-owned university in Zimbabwe.
