Hanyoyi:

 Binciken ya yi amfani da tsarin nazari mai zurfi wanda ya ƙunshi samfurin ɗalibai mata masu karatun digirin farko guda 422 waɗanda aka zaɓa kara zube daga Jami’ar Kenyatta.

Mafi Ƙarancin Adadin Abinci Daban-Daban – An yi amfani da Jerin Tambayoyi na Mata da Yawan Abinci don tantance ayyukan cin abinci na ɗaliban mata.

An auna nauyi da tsawo don tantance yanayin abinci na ɗaliban mata.

An ƙalailaice bayanan da aka samu ne ta hanyar amfani da Ƙunshin Ƙididdiga don Kimiyyar Zamantakewar Jama’a (SPSS) sigar 22.

Sakamako:

 Sakamakon ya nuna cewa kashi 64.0% na ɗaliban sun cinye rukunonin abinci ≥ 5 a yayin da kashi 36% sun cinye rukunonin abinci <5 a cikin awanni 24.

Dangane da matsayin abinci mai gina jiki, kashi 68.4% na ɗaliban suna da Kimar Nauyi da Tsawo na jiki daidai, a yayin da kashi 23.9% suke da ƙiba, kashi 5.55% ba su da ƙiba kuma 2.3% na da teɓa.

Mafi Ƙarancin Adadin Abinci Daban-Daban – Mata suna da alaƙa da mahimmancin yanayin abinci mai gina jiki (p=0.044).

Shawarwari:

 Sakamakon ya nuna halaye marasa kyau na cin abinci da ƙarancin abinci mai gina jiki a tsakanin adadi mai yawa na ɗaliban mata.

Ýan majalisa su haɓaka ayyukan da za su taimaka wajen inganta tsarin abinci na mata masu shekarun haihuwa, musamman ɗaliban jami’a.

Masu binciken sun ce rashin zaɓin abinci da rashin abinci iri-iri ne ke haddasa rashin lafiya da yawan ƙiba da ake gani a jikin ɗalibai mata masu karatun digirin farko a Jami’ar Kenyatta ta ƙasar Kenya.

 Sauye-sauyen salon rayuwa da halaye a ƙasar Kenya sun haifar da haɓakar ƙiba gabaɗaya, kuma musamman ma ga ɗalibai, irin waɗannan zaɓin abincin na iya yin tasiri ga lafiyarsu har tsawon rayuwarsu.

Wani bincike da aka gudanar a tsakanin ɗaliban da suka kammala karatun digirin farko a birnin Nairobi ya nuna cewa kashi 22.9% na ɗaliban suna da ƙiba da teɓa, yayin da kashi 5.5% ba su da ƙiba.

 Wannan binciken ya yi nazari ne musamman a kan abinci da kuma lafiyar ɗalibai mata a Jami’ar Kenyatta.

Masu bincike sun so gano abincin da zai iya haifar da ƙiba da kuma rashin lafiya.

 Masu binciken sun yi wani nazari mai zurfi ne a kan wasu ɗalibai mata masu karatun digirin farko guda 422 waɗanda aka zaɓa kara zube daga Jami’ar Kenyatta.

Masu binciken sun tattauna da ɗaliban game da bambancin abincin da suke ci, da kuma yawan cin abincin.

 Binciken ya gano cewa kashi 64.0% na ɗaliban mata sun cinye rukunonin abinci 5, a yayin da kashi 36% suka cinye ƙasa da rukunonin abinci 5 a cikin awanni 24.

Rukunonin abincin da ɗaliban suka fi cinyewa su ne hatsi a kashi 92% da kayan lambu kuma a kashi 78.4%.

Dangogin gyaɗa sun kasance mafi ƙarancin abin da suka ci a kashi18.4%.

 Binciken ya gano cewa kashi 68.4% na ɗaliban suna da Kimar Nauyi da Tsawo daidai, a yayin da kashi 23.9% suke da ƙiba, kuma kashi 5.55% ba su da ƙiba kuma kashi 2.3% na da teɓa.

Masu binciken sun ƙaddara cewa yawanci (kashi 68.4%) na ɗaliban suna cikin ƙoshin lafiya.

 Masu binciken ba su bayyana dalilin da ya sa suka kalli ɗalibai mata kawai ba.

Masu binciken sun ambaci wani abu game da yanayin zamantakewa ko matsalolin da mata za su iya fuskanta kamar samun dama ko tsadar abinci mai kyau da makamantansu.

Masu binciken sun ba da shawarar cewa ‘yan majalisu su haɓaka shirye-shiryen kiwon lafiya na abinci don inganta abincin mata masu shekarun haihuwa, musamman ɗaliban jami'a.

 Binciken ya ba da shawarar cewa wuraren cin abinci na jami’a ya kamata su samar da zaɓin abinci mai gina jiki, iri-iri da kuma dacewa.

Wannan zai tabbatar da cewa an hana ɗaliban dogaro da abinci marasa lafiya.
