Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa) in partnership with the Namibia Library Consortium (NALICO) hosted a workshop to support the Namibia academic community.
TCC Africa was honored to work with the Namibia Library Consortium (NALICO)in introducing the open access research discovery solution, dimensions.ai to the Namibian academic community which will help them improve their research output and visibility.
Dimensions contains more than 100 million publications, ranging from articles published in scholarly journals, books and book chapters, to preprints and conference proceedings. All publications are contextualized with linked data sets, funding, publications, patents, clinical trials, and policy documents. You can also view associated categories, funders, institutions, and researcher profiles.

The Namibian Library Consortium (NALICO) was created in 2014 with the vision will be 'to be a leading consortium supporting national development and empowering citizens through information’ and its mission ‘to promote and strengthen equal access to knowledge through collaboration.'
The Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa) is the first African-based training centre to teach effective communication skills to scientists. TCC Africa is an award winning Trust, established as a non-profit entity in 2006 and is registered in Kenya. TCC Africa provides capacity support in improving researchers’ output and visibility through training in scholarly and science communication.
