AfricArXiv has been presenting at the virtual Open Publishing Fest.
Our first session was entitled “Why we need a preprint repository for Africa” which allowed us to present our work to a global community and respond to questions that were more generally as well as more technical ones.
Another session in which we participated was run by Open Knowledge Maps and ReFigure: “Overcoming the discoverability crisis”
Coming up today in collaboration with our partner repository PubPub and colleagues from Knowledge Futures Group: “Audio/Visual Preprints and the Mechanisms for Global Rapid Knowledge Exchange”.
