Supporting Rongo University in Accessing Open Access Resources & Preprints as a journal selection strategy

Training Centre in Communication in collaboration with AfricArXiv celebrated International Open Access Week of 2021 by engaging with the academic community at Rongo University by hosting a workshop themed “Using Open Access Resources & Preprints as a journal selection strategy”.

The speakers advocated for using open science tools in breaking barriers of research as well as other potential benefits such as mitigating predatory publishing and also increasing the visibility of research output.
