Peer Review is an integral part of the quality and accuracy assurance upon dissemination of research results.
At AfricArXiv, we advocate for unbiased and independent peer review and as such partner with organizations such as PREreview, and others who have specialized in setting best practices and working together with researchers from all parts of the world.
As a follow-up of our successful collaboration together with Eider Africa, TCC Africa, PREreview and eLife (see Open Peer Reviewers in Africa) as well as Aphrike Research, we have now set up a registry of researchers who are committed to serving as referees either journal-independent via PREreview, or for selected journals and publishers with whom we are seeking to collaborate on identifying experts in the respective research topics as referees from across the continent.
We invite you to register in our database of reviewers. You will be contacted based on matches with your field of expertise.
Receive recognition for your work!
By reviewing the work of other researchers who present their findings on a topic that is related to yours, you share with them and others your expertise on the topic. We encourage you to publish your review report as a scholarly record with us and our partners.
